You might have heard the saying,"Ignorance is bliss…"
…but not to some people who misunderstood facts or worse, DO NOT understand facts at all.1) The issue on illegal selling of (pirated) 'anime' VCDs / DVDs.
- They do not know the difference between the term anime and hentai.
- Why the concern of a certain genre of illegal publication when you can be concerned with piracy as a whole?
2) The issue on Black Metal.
They seem to be biased when it comes to metal music. Slipknot came to Malaysia and did a concert, why not raid that concert? Just because it was a small time gig putting up a genre of music inclining to metal and had the word 'black' some more, means the police can 'makan' is it?
Ironically, the raid happened shortly after an episode in the ever-so-stupid Gerak Khas featured a bunch of metalheads getting together and get high on drinks and pills. Does that mean Yusoft Hasbeen has a strong influential content in his lame dramas?
From the article, I understand that the 400 estimated crowd were not detained because of illegal shows but seems that their entertainment was cut short due to the fact that they were believed to have worshipped satan, consumed alcoholic drinks, consumed illegal drugs and committed indecent acts in public.
- Worship satan:
WTF? Slipknot is a satanic band, you bloody morons. Why not catch them and put them behind bars? Was it because they managed to pull in thousands of concert-goers and a dozen of sponsors that accumulated hundreds of thousands of revenue? - Consumed alcoholic drinks:

Why don't you go and raid all stupid clubs and sleezy joints in town that you jolly well know that the existence of "ice", "ecstacy" etc.. is obvious? Why don't you catch the illegal prostitutes whom are at large and put them behind bars because they made too many indecent acts in public, in the bush, in the public toilets, in the back alleys etc. etc…? - What the hell is wrong about black metal? It is just another kind of music in the heavy metal family. If you think these kinds of music promote sexual indulgence, then why the hell don't you fucking raid a Jazz or Rn'B concert??? Most people chose to play these kinds of music when they make love or have sex or fuck. Then go and do your fucking job in those places where there are Jazz or Rn'B or slow luscious music being played lah! (okay.. I am not suggesting anything, okay!)
- If something which is illegal can be ambushed even at home eg. taking drugs in one's private room, then why not fucking catch me while I'm blasting the sounds of Deicide or Cannibal Corpse in my room, if that kind of music influence really is banned? Don't be a fucking idiot and allow those music albums to be imported and marketed in the first place! It's similar to: one can sell drugs but the buyer can't do anything with the drugs the buyer bought! Fuck!
Fucking morons! I hate stereotypes but I can't help but to stereotype powerful authorities whom are governed by political bodies to be idiots.
I don't want to go into greater detail as I believe Jeff Ooi did a very good write up on the issues and what I am portraying here are just based on my personal opinion.
Useless fact: Do you know that Ozzy Osbourne, the King of Metal, is very faithful and loving to his wife and kids as opposed to the wild lifestyles of decent looking chaps like Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Jean-Claude Van Damme or even that bitch Error Faz Error?
3) Some stupid people wishes to ban aerosol sprays because some stupid people got molested amidst the chaotic celebration after the sprays messed up their hair and mascara,… I think. Then, some stupid people blamed the Bangladeshis for touching them body parts while they were blinded by the sprays,… I think. In the end, some not-so-stupid people took the remarks made by some stupid people as racist and the stupid kena hantam liao by the not-so-stupid with racist accusitions. Later some found, some stupid people tried so hard to divert the racist remarks to banning of aerosol foam sprays.
I also want to join in the stupid fun in being like the stupid and not-so-stupid but I'll call myself not-so-clever, ok?
If aerosol foam spray are banned, how to mousse up my hair? How to put on my shaving cream to shave? How to kill the cockroaches? Okay that one no foam, so no count… How to spray paint one's
stolenbicycle? Oops that one still no foam… errrmm…But if the aerosol foam spray is banned, next upcoming celebration, don't care lah which celebration, I am going to bring spray paint and 'ecstatically' spray on fellow 'celebrators' and accidently kena char bors' eyes and then whoever who wants to molest the char bors, attempts to molest. Then I can scold the buggers who molested or attempted the molest and be called hero by the char bors. (Still I am not suggesting anything, hor!)
.. and then stupid char bor(s) can write another petition to ban spray paints and come the next celebration, another not-so-clever bugger will bring another form of spray and this cycle will never end until all the idiots, the stupid and the not-so-stupid stop acting like as if they are the everest of wisdom.
4) Lastly, a stupid idiot named Rani called home early in the morning and asked for Dada. I said groggily in my half asleep voice, "She went out already"… Hoping to end the conversation with that idiot.
But she didn't want to hang up! Instead, insisted to ask the same question.
May I speak with Ms Suzanna, please?"
Me: "She went out already…. you are?"
Rani: "May I speak with Ms Suzanna, please?"
… dekni automated voice call is it?
Me: "She went out already… YOU ARE?"
Rani: "Oh I am Rani. Can you speak up a little cos I can't really hear you…"
Me: "SHE… WENT… OUT!" I thought she wanted to hang up already.. but
Rani: "May I know who is this?"
Me: I wanted to hang up but I felt obligated to answer then… "I'm her brotherrrr" in my Darth Vader voice.
Me: "Why?"
Rani: "err.. nothing… thanks"After both of us hung up, I kept wondering to myself (suddenly awake already)… How come she, the intruder, can call my home number, demand for me to speak louder, ask who I am, and me, in my half awakeness could still answer her questions but when I, the invaded, asked for a simple why, I was attended to a seemingly innocent 'nothing' that could escape scott free without even having obligations to answer to my question.
If I'd known better, the conversation would have been like this;
Rani:"Hello may I speak to Miss Suzanna, please?"
Me:"Fuck you bitch! You are one self-centered mangkok who only thinks and caters to your big egoistic self!
*hang up*But then, oh well, that is life, perhaps. That is why ignorance is called bliss. If not, that Rani would have gotten the best of my blissful conversing skills. haha…

haha. i found the "black metal" gig thing hilarious when i read it a few days back. I was like thinking… "Force Vomit.. Black Metal?" and then i went laughing again. Force Vomit is a local band which was due to perform on that fateful day, but tak sempat since the police happily gatecrash the thing.

They are a great band with nice songs but one thing I don like about their sound is that they sound (could be on purpose, I don’t know) the same album after album.

That’s quite a handful of information if they do want to really fill their staff with wider knowledge of the ‘otherside’ and entertainment associated with satan and the occults alike.
Many books are banned here locally and across the border and if books like the wrong teachings of certain religions can be tracked and banned from marketing openly, I believe those collection has slim chances to be approved by the relevant authorities.
Knowing much will help as much and knowing less may make you seem helpless.
