    An interesting yet disturbing, shall I categorise it as discovery (?), or it is in fact, a popular understanding (?), I found. Just to quote a few eyebrow-raising ones by contributors;

"…In class, they are the dumbest dumbest of the lot. Yet they get admitted to public universities 80% of the time thanks to the racist goverment. As a result they graduated unemployed because their English sucks… but turn the tables around and say that the employers are racist. They blame their pathetic pampered lives on other people (other races?) and not the fact that they are too lazy and dependent to achieve success." – TheDerangedPorcupine, Malaysia May 28, 2005

"…incredibly stupid and often ugly, those who achieve higher education and acquire respectful professions are often incompetent and uneducated. This is because the lot is protected by constitution and are entitled to received unfair special privileges that allow them to enter universities and suck government funds to help them lead their pathetic little lives." – Easy, Feb 7, 2005

"…Sole contributor of the country's sex crimes… Fabulously lazy and laid back, and expect everything to be spoon fed to their lips. An emblem of ignorance and stupidity. Will become extinct if their racial rights are revoked.

    e.g.
Son – "Daddy, how come Siti gets humped by her grandfather every night?"
Dad – "Thats because she's Malay, son. You see (puts son on lap), Malays are incestous." – Rajjiv, Malaysia Aug 13, 2005

"…lives in the country of Malaysia, and is very poor. Usually sitting in a cyber-cafe bar and flooding IRC channels.
    A person that can't spell.
A person that can't speak correctly.
    an extreme ass kisser…

    e.g.
    1. Ayoub is a fucking malay.
    2. IrC-mEn kisses so much ass, he's just like those fucking malays!
    3. HiLLBoY can't spell for shit man, what a fucking malay." – Trashlord Mar 11, 2005

"An Asian race which the whites seems to think resides in Malaysia only. Not true, because there are Malays in Singapore too. Oh and they play soccer better than the Chinese.

    e.g.
Sara is a Malay girl who lives in Singapore." – Chocolate Cake Oct 11, 2003

Everybody knows Urbandictionary.com is a dictionary portal where meanings of words are contributed by the readers themselves and the explaination with the highest votes get to be placed at the top of the page followed by the rest.

On a positive note, maybe these are the minority whom had bad experiences with Malays a.k.a Melayu. To me personally, of course I don't feel good reading queer, racist and degrading remarks of my own race but I would like to take it in a good stride and treat everybody the same. You see, people can talk about us in that manner, means we can do the same. Either we choose to fight over it or just keep calm and prove others' misconceptions wrong.

You may read the source and contributed meanings of Malay in UrbanDictionary.com here. Whereas I am going to find Tammy, the NYP student or the Tammy download freaks whom are selling off the videos, to demand for royalty to be paid to the makers of the handphone flicks.

Aridewa with regards to ur comments on my blog..

    she started it first ok!!

at first i did not put up a link to her, but she herself make fun of me by placing my link in her blog first… she started it all first..

I just defended myself. Oh God, in my previous posts I did not even link her –but that chick totally DEGRADED me even worse than how I degraded her!

sorry i was not being ‘xiaxue’ or ‘xia suay’.. actually i was being myself aka standing up for myself :)

  • Izzati 8:12 am on February 27, 2006 | # | Reply

u were wondering where i live?

    Brunei.

Anywayz that girl was totally degrading me, i can’t just shut up when shytz was thrown at me right??

she should’ve at least didn’t put my link in the first place..

sometimes i just want to stand up for myself.

it actually doesn’t matter to me if her english is bad or whatever.

if she is kind and polite, then i would still be kind to her.

    I live in Brunei.

with regards to ur comment about criticism — (i like you as a blogger and friend because you are a good Muslim) — well, the girl started it and she degraded me the worst way possible.

SHE PUT UP MY LINK IN HER POST FIRST.

At first, I didn’t do anything. I just defended myself but I didn’t become stupid enough to put her link in my post. Very scared she might get mad.

But the girl in question doesn’t know even small manners. She just put my link there and like a show-off ask everyone to go laugh at me!

they have a place called a box below the box where you put your name for you to key in or advertise your website and as for replying to comments by commentors in your blog, can you reply at your own space without affecting the flow of discussion?

My apologies to Ari and other readers for volunteering moderator here because I cannot stand it.

Anyway, back to topic, I am 100% Malay and I feel embarrassed if we are continuingly being stereotyped as the above.

I can’t deny most of the facts. Neither can I take it. Other races are undeniably similar.

The reason the majority of other cultures find Malay’s to be unsavory is because the mass of their internet population are 12 year olds whom only speak Engrish in all capitals, or even worse, Capitals With Every New Word. This is a double edged sword as one could say the same thing about Americans, as you meet the uber defensive online folk, who add to the stereotypes that the majority of us are uneducated and violent. I have a couple of malay friends, as I live in San Francisco, and while I do find the lahs and lars to be a bit odd, I do accept them as generally nice and smart folks. The internet is full of people who are angry and spiteful, so take everything with a grain of salt

Ok, my comments. I’m Malay and proud of it, even some belittle me and my capabilities. Due to some Malays, I get what other people deserves. Could be blessings in disguise. I may get what I deserves in future, I hope. Anxiety hits again. Looking forward to my vacation/leave. Hope get the fun I’m hoping for. I can never get what I deserve in a work place, due to me being Malay (I’m praying hard they prove me wrong).

Interesting topic indeed! Just prove to those people that they are wrong…. tapi nak buek camno, dah memang ramai orang Melayu yang buat kerja tak senonoh, and again ramai sangat ‘Kak Nam’ yang suka dok hebah2 citer sampai masuk segala front-page paper. But its good though, supaya jadi pengajaran dan sempadan. But those non-Malays/racist that thought they are good enough to be exclusively exist on this planet without us the Malays…. depa tu lagi banyak bawa problem and have so many social ill, but they dont tell, keep among themselves and buat2 bodoh or dono like nothing happened. Is there any ‘perfect’ race in this world? Proud to be Malay in Malaysia!!!!

    cheq:
Pass me the article. I also want to read…

“yang penting, jadi MANUSIA tak kire ape bangse.. jangan jadik BANGSAT yang buat orang jadi meluat!”

    I like the phrase.

Tetiba kau komen panjang, aku terperanjat so oleh kerana aku terperanjat, reply aku jadi pendek.

    dD:
Why should you say sorry for barging? You should say sorry for not making yourself feel at home here!! hehe..

I believe the term racist now has become a subjective issue just like art. So saying your friend is a malay from singapore does not make you racist, it makes you a person who categorised malays via nationality. hahaha…

    Izzati:
I am not a proud singaporean but I am a proud person.

    Izzati:
Can we have this in your comment box please? I check back where i left comments don’t worry. So we talk there ok?

    Izzati:
I wondered where but figured that out. Ok we talk there… come follow me…

    Izzati:
“i like you as a blogger and friend because you are a good Muslim”

Even if I am not a blogger or if i am not muslim (choy I am just example only ah) that doesn’t make me bad.

See what I told you about bad influence from … ok nevermind we talk there… come!

    lunacy:
I am a Malay and I am stuck in Singapore. Haha..

    cheq:
Lemah lembutnya berbual.. and this is not out of topic because cheq is showing how sensitive and caring a malay can be. See??

    Izzati:
    Never call me ‘eh’.

I am glad you like it but you can leave your comments at the respective posts, thank you.

    Kak Lis:
Don’t worry I have my sense of moderation and moderators here are very alerts in the moderatings of comments moderations.

    Relax Kak, maybeeeee…
    Izzati had connection problems.

    Izzati:
No worries. There is a comment note at the bottom of the comment box just in case you may want to read it because I did mention about sending comments.

It’s ok, just keep on contributing. No worries.

Izzati: I want to delete double posts but yours not really double posting because the words vary. So I leave it. Not like :D who can remember what she typed.. wah lau that :D really something.

This is not digressing because I am showing how I can be patient. Malays are patient and relaxed but interpreted as too slacked and lazy.

    Saila:
I cannot afford to pay you as moderator because your salary too high! See got high paying salary earners also what, Malays. (eg. Saila) amik kau!

But that was a good tip to key in URL in the appropriate boxes. Also not digressing because this shows that Malays are willing to share knowledge and not keep to themselves what they know.

    Kak Lis:
“I may get what I deserves in future..”

May you deserves all the greats and lucks in your future rendezvous! Hahahah!

    Linda NJ:
Nampak ajer.. ni semua camera trick.

Still not digressing because Linda showed great observation skills as a Malay…

    Izzati:
Still here? I said we talk there right?

Ah finally on track.. ok good. Anyway, I don’t know the answer to your question, “My God, when are those barbarians gonna stop putting up sick screenshots and distributing the videos?”… eh wait, you asked God not me. Sorry I overlooked.

    cheq:
Ok now I shall appoint moderators in this blog.

    1. Kak Lis
    2. Acik
    3. Saila
    4. Cheq

actually I also want to appoint Doink but she is too nice to be moderator so I put as advisor.

Not digressing. This is to show Malays are good with team work and know how to delegate tasks.

    awan:
    That’s it! haha..

“hiasi peribadi”… fuh.. See… Malays are beautiful with their words if arranged tactfully. And who the hell claimed that french, spanish or hindi are the only sexy languages? You have not heard MALAY before?

    Kak Lis:
Fuh belum assign moderator job dah start kerja…
And I find it funny, “tak payah bold the fonts. Aku cuma pekak je, tapi belom buta”..

    Humorous sarcasms = Malays.

    Lelaki Melayu Berwawasan:
The name itslef implies that Malays have long term visions too!

    acik:
    what makes you think so?

Anyway we are living together right now as one whole big gigantic family…

    Tepak Sireh:
‘Kak Nam’ tu siapa aku nak kenal-kenal boleh?

And I agree with you totally minus the ‘Kak Nam’ because I don’t know who is ‘Kak Nam’.

See… a perfect example of Malays weighing their words before voicing out.

  • Kak Lis 1:30 pm on February 27, 2006 | # | Reply

Hahaa. “Kak Nam” bukan sahaja ada dalam Melayu, tapi ada jugak dalam bangsa lain. Cuma designation lain sikit kot~ Being a “Kak Nam” ni ada banyak advantages nye.

    - Dapat jaga tepi kain orang / selak kain orang lain
    - Bleh dapat ownership of gossips
    - Kalau gossip masok frontpage, mesti bangga sampai idong bengkak macam badot.
    - Contacts pon makin bertambah, almaklomlah gossip hangat kan cam pisang panas revolusi, jadik ramai lah nak make fren ngan meka meka

Should I turn into a Kak / Mak / Nek (Nam)? Bestnye dan glamour idop..

I am half Arab half Pakistan but I speak malay because I was brought up in Singapore and both my parents can converse in Malay and sent me to malay lessons.

I can’t speak arab (except for prayers I guess) or pakistan language for nuts and already treating myself as a Malay. Some how I find it disgusting when some other half malay plus half other nationality or race claimed they have mixed blood.

That brings me to the question, “why?”

Aren’t we suppose to be proud of our own race? Some even to the extent of saying they are of mixed blood even if the blood from other origins came from one of the grandparents.

No wonder Malays do not have an identity. They need to learn about loving their own and be proud of being one first.

but the funny thing is that…orang melayu sendiri yang menjatuhkan martabat bangsa. as a malay, i’m irritatingly pissed when others pandang serong terhadap kemajuan bangsa sendiri. such as…

“alah…mentang²lah anak si dektu masuk universiti, nak ke menunjuk-nunjuk kapa?”

and the worst part, it’s misplaced…

  • Kak Lis 8:44 am on February 28, 2006 | # | Reply

BTW, there was a survey done, sometime last year locally by a local paper about races. Almost 100% of the Malay approach say that they will stick to being Malay, even if they have a choice to choose their race. Other races want to be Japanese, Latinos, Caucasians and bla bla bla. So I think on OVERALL the Singapore Malays love being Malay and proud being one.

Thank you for your kind attention.

Kenapa org melayu sendiri suka melabel org melayu mempunyai perasaan hasad dengki, I don’t think so. Ini zaman millenium bukan zaman bawang putih bawan merah lagi. Knp tak bring out melayu nya strong point, sympathetic race. Org melayu mudah kesian kan org yg kurang bernasib baik dan suka menolong bangsa sendiri.
    Is this familiar
” tak pe lah kesian, org melayu kita, tolong lah, halalkan lah..etc..etc…”
Ini bikan kelemahan ini satu kekuatan.
I amat selesa bergaul dgn org melayu.
Semua bangsa punya kelemahan tak terkecuali melayu.
    Sori Ari, panjang lebar.

nancy, i agree with your points. it was just a reflection that i read upon in berita harian a few days back. it did report on the fact that malays are still not free of bringing down each other.

not to say that bangsa lain pun tak buat camtu, lah…heh.

but yes, i agree with you with regards to the fact that melayu banyak plus points nya tersendiri :)

    Kak Lis:
Yes you should! You have that natural talent!

    Alien from malacca:
So how you ask me? If they are nice to you then be nice to them. If they are not nice to you, still be nice to them. Well at least it’s a relief you still regard them as friends as you’ve mentioned. It just shows that another non-malay whom can accept the presence of malays in today’s society. Thank you for sharing.

    Sahara In The Desert:
It’s nice to know that. I am also a proud malay and as I mentioned too, a proud person. Angkuh seangkuh-angkuh nya. Thank you too for giving that insight.

    chot:
Lucky you said you are comfortable with your malay friends, if not, I kill you ah!!
Yes bro it’s life. Indeed. Other races have their shortcomings too.

    nora:
Ni apa cerita ni nora? Apa ongkos2? Sogok eh? Aku tak hulur… aku saup ajer. Maklumlah melayulah katakan. Rezki jangan ditolak, musuh jangan di cari. Kan?

    cheq:
You are the welcome of cause!

See, this just shows if a person is nice, every good deed one does will get notices, be it on purpose or naturally. And yes, whatever you may do, it will reflect not only yourself but to family members, friends and your own kind. Unless you are one of a kind, please be sensitive to the surroundings.

    Jalal:
Cakap pasal submarine, aku teringat kan project aku dgn aida and acik. Kononnya nak… nevermind. It’s confidential.

And speaking of clones, I wish I have a twin brother. *ideas running in my head already*

    Ann:
So what do you have to say?

    Menteri Fasola:
Aik ni menteri semerah kedi ni lagik.
Macam mana nak pikat ramai perempuan? Tu kena tanya Kelkatu. Dia ramai peminat wanita, perempuan, gadis-gadis dan dara-dara sunti…

    test:
    test what? the comment box?

    cheq:
Entah lah ehk, maybeeee… bukan telepatik tapi dorang copy kot? Kau tahulah kan, aku pernah cakap lepas dekat beberapa orang tentang idea aku, tiba-tiba dorang buat tanpa credit kan aku. Dah banyak kali kena sebab itu aku cut short idea submarine tu tadik..

    Nong:
I like your interpretation and metaphor for this.
But if no colour discrimination, the african americans and natives wouldn’t be slaves back then.

ahah, ahah, ahah dan ehem lah pulakkkk.

But yes! TV is so educating the wrong things. Media sucks. Including blogs and that includes us. hehe hehe hehe and hehe again..

    joanne:
    others meaning other malays..?

Yes I agree. That brought me to something I encountered whilst in Batam with Fanta Kika 4 Band. There was this group of malay guys from Singapore who sang in front of the crowd really well and the other Singaporean malay tourists who were there didn’t even gave appreciation. Only the locals were dancing around and singing along and gave a round of loud applause. the other Singaporean Malay audiences were like giving faces that you could tell they were could be saying in their minds,”LU ANGKAT ah… LU baik ah!!!” With full of pun!

    Kak Lis:
It was in The NewPaper right?

But statistics don’t tell all true. It could be the survey was done on the streets where approachable people only were being asked to participate. If the case where they do up a survey mandatory and in confidence, I am sure results would vary. We have to bear in mind, Malays are naturally not open to letting out true feelings.

    Ah ler kong:
    Wei ah long.. ho bo..

See, as I mentioned to Kak Lis above, Malays are pretty timid when it comes to being questioned but when they are feeling comfortable with a reasonable crowd, they love the glamourous life and will be dying to copy the likes of hip hop celebrities’ and anything else that they’d find, ‘cool’. Hence the westernised names and fashion influence. Maybe the fashion thing is not really applicable because everyone is doing it but to dress up with outrageous colour combinations and hairstyles not suiting individuals is too unacceptable to me. A look or image could be ok to certain but definitely not to all. I guess they love mass production so much.

    Tio boh?

    cutie pie:
Don’ts talks the nonsense that I will be belief you says are truth. But thanking you will still be what I am doing.

    joanne:
Nama bapak saya jugak nama barat. “I am Malay!” But of course further questions were asked which I would want to elaborate further separately perhaps in an entry.

Back to your point of more putting down of one another (malays) rather than acknowledge and support, I have to agree to it as a whole. Not all but most. Perhaps it is our upbringing. Maybe we should recall on how or what our parents or grandparents baby talk us when we were young. eg. “jangan masuk situ ada hantu…”
and we grow up fearing ghost… you get my flow?

    Ah Chool:
Now dropped to number 8 I think. But he is rich in total asset before deductions of funds in debt we have to take note of that. But nevertheless, our race is still not known internationally like the chinese or indians. Indonesians are of separate entity because they have already identified themselves as indonesians as how japanese, koreans separate themselves.

    joanne(??):
Somehow I’ve got a feeling this is not joanne.

    joanne:
That is after you commented lah.. if not of course I thought it was you. Don’t worry I believe it’s an impersonation but I can’t do much on this because you are anonymous. Hope you can highlight to me when such things occur again. Hopefully not, because I also would be blur..

    zeela:
    Thank you. dah? tu ajer?

    alun:
Dan mmg awak out of topic!

    kak sk:
Gua caya lu ah kak!

    hana:
    We have cannibals???

Actually other races also dog eat dog world but only us too sensitive and always dependant on,”You malay I malay also cannot help is it?”

We should learn how to deal with healthy competition to grow.

    :D
Huh? Apa yang great? If many, I would have become famous dah. Cuma kita-kita, we all we all only.

    Nancy:
Mana ada panjang, short and sweet and a very good point. As I mentioned to Hana earlier. and I shall repeat, we must know how to understand honest positions and basis of helping one another. Not helping because you want to gain something, or because that person is of the same race, But to help because the person needs help regardless of any race.

    joanne:
To name one, the selective ones have really good manners. Bertatasusila dan beradab.

    :D
Haaaaaa??? *slaps head* I don’t know what to say or do. Again because you are also anonymous!

Anyway, what’s MY take in “melayu baru”?

No such thing as melayu baru sebab melayu baru datangnya dari zaman p.ramlee the moment arwahnya dominated the entertainment business.

    Terima kasih.

Why.. I can always brush off “Malay” of my physical identity because I’m not Malay according to my IC. Reallie mah..tell me how many people in here actually has Malay written under your race row in your IC? But then, since the world have already classify our physical appearances as Malay, let it be. Just think who’s the dumb one here. Us..the “Malays” or them.. Descrimination like this won’t lead them anywhere.

Dude, it’s been a long time. Still a superb blog that you are running here.

Whether Malay ke, Cina ke, Italian ke, every other race will have something degenarating to say about the other. The Irish gets it bad in England as the jews are in the US and I can go on an on. For me, the Malays have got to be self critical.

I’ve seen the Tammy video clip man. No comments here.

    Peace bro.

Anyway, im proud to be a malay.. Tapi, mcm sedih bila tengok orang lain pandang rendah kat bangsa kita.. Macam unfair pun ada..

Kenapa mesti cakap kita rasictlah, kitalah bangsa teruk.. Padahal bangsa lain pun ada sama jugak apa..

Bangsa kita pun apa kurangnya, melayu boleh berjaya sebenarnya.. Kena percaya kat diri sendiri dan sesama melayu!

I just wish that bangsa MELAYU, sedar nih.. Bukan tengok kelemahan bangsa kita sendiri..

Minah tudung, mat and minah.. We can be united! As long, kia bukan sampah masyarakt.. As long, we’re doing something for our country or at least for ourselves..

I don’t agree with Hafiz As’arilah, dia buat lagu macam gitu.. So? What’s his purpose? And for me, dia sekadar mengutuk… I don’t think he’s doing our malay community a favour..

    Done.

Racial discrimination is inevitable when there is a majority race in a country. Not that the country is racist, it’s just politically correct to say the people up there want to have better supporters (read:votes). There is also the need to please most since we cannot please all. Agree?

i feel racism is one of our human flaws, to discriminate things or persons we do not understand, or think we understand in this case. Arrogance from ignorance, like stabbing oneself in the foot.

If one had to live amongst peoples they are prejudiced against, like in that reality show where you get thrown into a totally and shockingly different culture in a different part of the world. Totally dependent on these peoples hospitality and graciousness.

That might help to overcome narrow views that such people who isolate themseleves to what they feel is comfortable(views, beliefs..), have. A lesson in humanity, humility..]

Wow. Pardon me for standing up for my friend just because she got discriminated for an innocent joke: living in a tree-house. Don’t start now with that lame excuse she’s young. You commentators stop bullying others, and placing that excuse “she’s young” It’s pathetic. Just because she’s 17 years old doesn’t mean she can’t think. And besides, is her in-your-face attitude directed towards you, Janet? Just mind your own business, BITCH. She can think. She has every right to be angry. She tried her best to make peace anyway, even if she came across as an “attention-seeker” ~ And I’m not her boyfriend. Just a friend. And, I admit I lied about not knowing Malay-I know some Malay.

At least she said “sorry.” She has every right to be angry afterwards because idiots like Kak Lis –kak-lis.blogspot.com started it, in spite of her good intentions. Do you people even know the meaning of an apology in the context of Islam?

    Ken:
Saying someone’s young is lame? How about if I say, in my opinion, she’s naive regardless of her age then? How are you going to defend her then? With what reasons to back? People make mistakes? Give me something new, please since you requested something new other than ‘her being young’.

Anyways, my comment on her being young is not to put her down but to spare her in defense for the things she might have innocently or ignorantly caused. If she is a mature 35 year old doing all these, most of the time, I would ignore because I refuse to see the young being misguided. As for the older ones, lantak doranglah… (as they wish: since you claim you don’t know malay but later confessed of having some malay friends and later again further confessed on having malay cousin, I translate. By the way, if you have malay cousins, distant or not, definitely you’ll have malay uncles or aunties. Correct?).

And on what ground must you call Janet a bitch? I don’t know janet but at least argue with concrete understanding of reasons contributed, please.

Yes everybody with a sane mind can think.
Yes everybody has the rights to feel and express.

I didn’t say you are her boyfriend. I said you are BARBIE’s boyfriend. Nak cakap kau pekak tapi ini bukan kekata diluahkan. Nak cakap buta tapi kau boleh baca.

And what made you think she tried her best? Can you determine somebody else’s best?

She said sorry after (read carefully: AFTER) being commented and after her “sorry”, will you please scroll up and read whether or not Kak Lis, whom you call idiot, did FLAME her again? Scroll again and you tell me.

I want you to reply to me all my responses directed at you. And if you find there’s a need to argue with me, please do so. As long as you have your reasons, I am willing to read them and react/ respond accordingly. With manners too.

Good news is, I have not come across a Bruneian based proxy server and please do update us if you encounter any and that just meant the address is genuine. [...]

Most malay’s are patty thats a fact. A little bit of crtisism and they go haywire. thats the real issue. I Am A malay and a muslim. Just let it be, say what they wanna say about malays but dont you go around critisizing other races…done!

    Hi Ignorant,

Oh my. Guess what? Malays can’t spell. Example? You.
What is “patty”? I know you meant “petty”. Learn how to spell before you make comments. Typo and don’t konw how to spell are TWO different things.

Actually I don’t understand the message that you are sending across.

    Malay!

    You, Ignorant, said,

“Why must Aridewa talk about malays so much”

    If you said,

“say what they wanna say about malays”

So… I am one of “they” means I am free to talk about malays whenever I want to.

Wait! I can write or say or talk or speak or mention about anything whenever I wish to because I treat all the same and not as double standard as you allowing other things but not another.

    So double standard.

The point is they’re mad at the govt policy, not the Malay people. Seldom in the world has a govt so tight up on race. Racism is a policy in Malaysia. It’s true that the Malays are losing the race, and they need help from the govt. But I don’t agree with the kind of help that the govt put up.it’s just the way the govt is implementing the policies. It does not bring out the best in the Malays, with privileges like that, it can only breed complacency, incompetency and corruption.

I’m Chinese, I find those Malays able to work in a multi-racial company tend to be intelligent and nice to work with. But go to a govt assited company, they’re like reverting to their own kampung relak attitude…can vomit blood sometimes dealing with them.

  • Ari 1:50 pm on July 14, 2006 | # | Reply

    Hi:

Even if one avoids stereotyping the races, the above articles or examples are still unacceptable and very subjective.

hi Says: “It’s true that the Malays are losing the race, and they need help from the govt. But I don’t agree ….”

The Malays would be a hell lot of happier and contented living and lazing in the sun, without any worries . . . now that they are forcefuly pulled along to joint the rat race, and becoming the soulless, heartless greedy persons that they, the true malays hate in the first place.
