This is a double edged sword as one could say the same thing about Americans, as you meet the uber defensive online folk, who add to the stereotypes that the majority of us are uneducated and violent. I have a couple of malay friends, as I live in San Francisco, and while I do find the lahs and lars to be a bit odd, I do accept them as generally nice and smart folks.
