About Moojik
What does Moojik mean?
Moojik is my created word. I don’t care what other languanges that had a meaning to it because for all I am concerned, to me, moojik means ‘to express flowing thoughts’.
Articles in Moojik can vary from my own observations crafted into short stories to anything else I feel like writing about. Topics are mostly inclined to:
- debates on discrimination and double standards,
- the arts, picture journal, digital photography and entertainment,
- news, gossips and bitchings about local celebrities in the malay industry,
- social affairs and relationships,
- the internet and what’s going on in the blogosphere,
- general and personal views on life and most interestingly and importantly,
- my point of view!
I am:
- a Singaporean of Bangka descend living in Toa Payoh. View my location via Frappr : Googlemaps.
- not tall but heavy.
- a cat lover. I have a pet cat named Shiva who is turning 13 this year (2006).
- what they say cute and cuddly… and some say charming. I don’t know.
- blessed with big ears and a big nose. Is that cute? Charming?
- a boring person, trust me… This one I know.
- more long-sighted than short. Similar to an old man’s eyesight.
- a Nescafe lover.
I love:
- to draw. Had been drawing since I was 5 years old.
- music. I write, play, criticise and listen to music.
- movies. Wish I could write, produce, act or get involved in the movie industry.
- writing, drawing, fishing, mountainbiking, cheap thrills, golfing, chess and XBox gaming to name a few.
- reading, observing and analysing.
- to think unnecessarily. Too much to be exact. Not much of a thinker but a fault finder.
- sleeping.
- Nescafe.
I don’t:
- do smileys. No Smileys from me in comments or blogs. Try to figure my tone in my writing.
- in fact, I can’t roller blade, juggle, lick my tip of my nose, lick my elbows or do many
other things for nuts. But I sure can lick… your elbows.
- like handshakes being offered palms down.
- fancy superficial and shallow mentality.
- hangout at crowded places. I can be seen in less crowded areas such as TPL7, Changi beach, KTM, KTVs, JB and Min’s Place.
- like underwear. Boxers the way to go.
- drink. Strictly no alcohol. Don’t ask me why.
- like my Nescafe to be too strong. I prefer it milky.
Bad Habits:
- I smoke. Preferably menthol cigarettes. Preferably Marlboro or alternatively, L&M.
- I dig my nose in public, I don’t care.
- I could go showerless for days. And still smell nice… I think.
- I still drool but that one I can’t control.
- Addicted to Nescafe.
